This renovation turned out amazing! This project included a small amount of drywall patching, and priming and painting the walls and ceiling. A new sink was installed and sink supply lines moved to make room for the new wall cabinets. Two new lights were installed and wired in a 3 way switch format. The light bulbs were replaced with LED florescent size tubes so you change them very rarely. The floors were painted with an epoxy based paint and coated with a high gloss protective coating. Two broom closets, two upper cabinets, two sections of custom base cabinets, and a custom bench were all installed. Base molding was added throughout. A wire shelving system was added it both the closet and above the main counter top. Custom coat hooks were also made. New hard wear was added throughout.
Here we removed the old damaged screens and replaced them with a plastic snap on system that makes the outside maintenance free and if a screen needs to be replaced its easy to do. The screen door was replaced with one that allows more light in. The ceiling was painted. We added a thin finish grad plywood to the walls then added trim around the screens and the wainscoting below. All the walls and trim were then painted. Lastly we painted the floor with an epoxy based paint that came with speckles to sprinkle on top and then a high gloss protective coating was added to the floor.
Here we installed crown molding in the Master Bathroom. When the bathroom was redone trim was added around the shower stall and made the room feel as if it was missing something. Now it feels more complete!
Here we removed the wallpaper, baseboards and old 1/4 round to make way for the new wainscoting. Once the wallpaper was stripped we were able to wash the walls and prep them for paint. One coat of primer did the trick to bring the drywall back to a paint able surface. The ceiling, walls, crown molding and doors were all painted. New higher baseboards, a chair railing, 1/4 round and the wainscoting boxes were installed.
In this Formal Living Room and Dining Room we removed the wall of mirrors that where original to the house to create a slightly more modern yet formal space. We removed the chair rail, baseboards and carpet. We installed a floating dark laminate floor, new base boards and crown molding in the Living Room. We painted a slightly darker grey on the double window wall to serve as an accent wall and a backdrop to the electric fire place that was planed to go in the middle of the windows. The other three walls received a lighter grey color. We also installed 1/4 round throughout both rooms. More picture to come.
